The league has tuned in recently to comments made by Falcons head coach Jim Mora Jr. The coach had to strongly defend his quarterback Mike Vick this week after Mora's father, ex NFL head coach turned commentator Jim Mora Sr. called Vick a "coach killer". Well, he didn't say it - but he agreed with another commentator who did. Here is what Mora Jr was quoted as saying:"I'm a huge Mike Vick fan. I always have been," the coach said. "I love the guy. He's a great player and I think he's a better person. I don't care what anybody says about Mike. If I was starting a franchise and I could pick one guy all-time, I would pick Mike Vick. That's how I feel about it."
Wow. When the league abuse committee heard this, they rushed over to Mora Jr's house and took him away in cuffs to be tested. Everyone is waiting to see what drug is in his system. I'm guessing crack, but most money seems to be on heroin since it's a hallucinagen. The league said maybe if he didn't say "all-time" they would have let him slide with a warning - but the fact that he felt compelled to disagree so strongly is what caused the apprehension and testing. After he's tested and detoxed - he'll be given a blank pad and pen and asked to rank all-time quarterbacks until he gets to Vick. If he doesn't go through about 4 sheets (front & back) first - he'll be carted off to be evaluated at a mental institution.
