Clooney Looney?

I can't get my arms around this story. George Clooney makes between $15-$20 million dollars per film. He recently gave $25,000 to a fund to help the writer's strike. Huh? That's like giving a whale a Tic-Tac for bad breath. It's insane.....and then to promote that fact instead of doing it anonymously? David Letterman and John Stewart are paying their staff's salary out of their own pockets. That takes balls. $25 large from a dude making that kind of coin is an embarassment. Maybe almost getting your ass kicked by Fabio messes with your decision making process?
