Montel Williams completely ambushes these guys from a Fox morning show. The man clearly has a point. But when the Fox crew gets a bit defensive, why didn't they point out that he used to have talk show that probably exploited all sorts of talk show weirdness. I can't say with certainty since I haven't seen it in forever, and I don't remember it being as bad as Springer or Maury - but nonetheless, him being this self righteous is at minimum a tad hypocritical.....but I agree with him.
Props to Still A Dad for sending this link to me. It was buried in my inbox, but I finally got around to watching it. I don't mind saying, I think I got a little wood while watching it. I couldn't agree more. I have no tolerance for violent crimes, especially against children. Now that I have a daughter, I know in my heart that if anything (and I mean anything) ever happened to her along those lines - I would gladly spend the rest of my life in prison to make sure justice was served. Creep gets 5 years? On 5 years plus 1 day he gets blown away...by me. Technicality in court? A million dollars says a certain friend of mine (and he knows who he is) has a weapon with no serial number on it wrapped up in a gift box with a bow in my garage the next morning when I come out for "work". I'm in a circle of friends with lots of daughters. I'd drive the getaway car for any one of those guys and help out any way I could. Let that happen in America for 6 months and watch crime go down. You see these people in courtrooms go after criminals after a family member is harmed. In my perfect world they leave the cuffs on the guy and give the family some quality time with him. Criminal's rights? You have the right to get curb-stomped in my opinion........and I'm a law-abiding productive member of society.
Is anyone else sick and tired of reading about how Paul McCartney is out to squash the annual seal hunt in Canada? Paul and his 18-year-old wife (OK, she's not 18 but she could be his grandaughter) are headed to Canada to actually go out and observe the seals and take part in the protest. I read a few article about it tonight from different sources. From what I could tell, it's as necessary as hunting white tail deer in Pennsylvania. Humane? Read this. Read the entire website actually before believing everything the protestors say. C'mon, Paul. Kids are hungry and AIDS is threatening an entire continent. Are you just doing this because your hot little wife thinks the baby seals are cute? Well, "whitecoat" baby seals have been off-limits for 20 years. There have been protestors at every hunt for the last umpteen years and they are allowed up to 25 meters from the hunters. If all these violations were really going on, wouldn't we know about it? Photo Op. Paul gets in news. This has been going on for hundreds of years. It's not going to stop because a "pop" star attends. Now maybe if Ringo threw his hat in the ring......
