Excellent photos. These are cool to look at while I'm watching The Pacific on HBO. I was much more into Band of Brothers but The Pacific is still good. I don't care if it's Utah Beach or one of the beaches in the Pacific, if I was in one of those transport vehicles, I think I would have thrown up, jumped over the back and started swimming. I can't believe the courage those dudes had.

Some powerful pictures there. We owe a huge debt of thanks to the men in those photos.
War is a terrible thing. But what are you going to do? They're trying to kill you unless you kill them first.
We will be reminded of this again in the near future when Iran and North Korea threatens us with their nuclear bombs which we allow them to build.
People will scream at the number of lives lost to defend against such an attack. But nobody in the Oval office wants to halt these knuckleheads now while we are still all alive. Like I learned in 7th grade, history repeats itself.
Yah. Could you even imagine? I am a nurse and have taken care of multiple WWII vets (even an WWI vet once!) and the stories...wow. I mean, just wow. I had the privilege of taking care of a WWII vet who was a part of storming Normandy Beach...he said he had never seen such a thing in his whole entire life. I'm sure. I can't even begin to tell you what he told me, but let's just say that thank God for people like him.
