Oooops, I almost forgot to mention the funniest thing that I witnessed while at the game last Monday night. During a TV timeout, they showed a promo on the scoreboard that revolved around kids. I can't remember what it was for because it got very loud when the spot ran. The kids looked to be between 5-10 years old and they were all sitting on aluminum bleachers with one very large kid in the back row. Hey, that's no kid....why it's Sucky McSuckSuck, the Steelers new mascot! The second he appeared on screen, the boo's started. It started slowly as people not looking at the screen had no idea what was going on. As more and more people looked around to see what was causing the "Boo's", it grew louder. It got to the point where if the guy was in the house, he probably ran for cover. I wish I could have seen the looks in the owner's box at that point. For all the good decisions that this team makes, that was a whopper of a bad one! Let's hope they put the costune in the closet (or brn it) after this 75th anniversary season ends (in February).

They need cheerleaders less than Rosie O'Donnell needs liposuction.
You want to see scantily clad women, buy a magazine or a lapdance. You want to watch football go to a Steeler game.
I agree, no cheerleaders, no mascot, no paint in the one north end zone, no 50 yard line logo. Just plain nasty football. Thats what its all about.
btw, a lapdance sounds pretty good right about now.
Real pro football teams don't need cheerleaders...
The biggest a** in the free world has GOT TO BE JEFF REED. He appeared on the Hines Ward show on 11/21/07 and after the taping, walked RIGHT PAST ALL THE FANS, turned his head and didn't sign anything for even one kid! I'm not talking about an autograph for an adult, I'm talking about an autograph for a kid (under 10 years old). I met Jeff Reed a couple of years back at a personal appearance of his and he had NO PERSONALITY then. I see time has not changed him at all. He is a complete a**! I can't stand him! I will laugh my a** off the day he gets cut!!!
