He's seen how the USA has destroyed all who cross it's path throughout history. And he's not taking any chances 'cause he knows very well N. Korea is damn near the top (bottom?) of Mr. Bush's "poop list."
On the one hand it does give him some international negotiating power. On the other hand it pisses off the Chinese and Japanese who probably are less tolerant of his nuclear testing bullshit than even the U.S.
This is bad. The Iranians are worse. But wait until the Somalies get nukes. Now THAT is when the world will have to worry.
