So, like I said last week - I'm working at a new job and my space is on the 4th floor. I left a beautiful office to go back to the world of cubing.....for now. The 4th floor is the penthouse in this older building. What cracks me up is the lack of stair climbers in this joint. I've been going up them 4-5 times a day now for 2 weeks. I hardly ever pass anyone in the stairwells. There are two elevators that are only big enough for about 5 people and after lunch, it is nothing to see folks waiting for an elevator, or not making it on and waiting for it to come back! This isn't the City Of Philadelphia where the buildings have banks of elevators running AI programs to get you there faster, this is one stinking elevator per bay.....and there are 2 bays.....on opposite sides of the building. I can't believe these people don't take advantage of giving their heart a little pumpity pump a few times a day. Same thing when I was in the city - there would be a line to walk through the auto doors to our secure building instead of pushing the doors open. People would complain when the escalator was out of service that took you up to the elevator bay (I was coming from underground ). I worked in the penthouse there as well but it was the 16th floor.............and no, I didn't!!!

I'm also in a 4-floor building with 2 elevators side by side in the center lobby. The thing that kills me is all the fat-asses I've seen that take the elevator to the 2nd floor! Or even worse the ones who go DOWN one floor!
