Steelers Sly Move

The Steelers signed Keyaron Fox to a one year deal today to apparently be a backup LB and Special Teamer. He was a third round pick in 2004. I'm assuming there is no guarantee he'll even make the team, but I like what I see when I look at his profile. Since he's backing up, I wonder if he can play both inside and out?

He'll play outside... outside of the Steeler roster that is.

Ahh, spring is in the air. And the Steelers, as they usually do, are signing junk off other teams scrap heaps looking for training camp fodder.

It's not a bad move. I imagine the player looks at it like a fresh opportunity. The Steelers look at it like a cheap way to get experienced bodies into camp and as a way to, however remote the chance, unearth a real gem.

You will see more of these type signings over the coming weeks leading up to the draft. It will mean nothing.

Maybe this guy can actually cover kicks or something?
