This is from a story posted today about an attack on the US Embassy in Syria:
[Witnesses also said the gunmen tried to throw hand grenades into the embassy compound, shouting "Allah Akbar!" or "God is great!" It was not clear if any of the grenades made it over the walls, which are about 8 feet high.]
My 7 year old daughter can make a basket on a 10 foot rim and these idiots can't toss a grenade over a wall? Here's a better question? Why do we need embassies at all? What purpose can they possibly serve in this crazy world? I'll tell you what, I wouldn't want to be one of the Marines stationed in a country that houses these flaming assholes. This is the age of technology. I'm sure our government can communicate with Syria without having a compound in the country. How can we trust their government to help protect our citizens? I think it's time to start closing them.
