It's a beautiful thing. That rumbling in the ground coming from our right defensive end position will be here for a while longer.
One of my favorite Steelers, Brett Keisel, has signed a 5 year contract extension that will make him a "Steeler For Life." Monetary terms of the deal have not been announced yet although it seems apparent that it was more important to Brett to stay a Steeler than it was to break the bank.
Contrast this situation to another guy named Brett up in Minnesota (for this year). I know which one I'm betting on to come out alive when they meet on October 25 with me & Fan in attendance! That'd be big ole "99."

One thing I've always loved about the Steelers is their ability to keep players around for their entire career. Guys like Kiesel are the mold that I love -- they don't talk off the field, cause their play on it says it all. Happy to have him until he retires.
