A magnificent view of the football field formerly known as PuSsINet Stadium from scenic I-95!
I am so glad we were at the first NFL game ever played there. Another Stiller ass-whipping of the Shitbirds. It was a forebearer of things to come.
When we go to the Jersey shore for vacation we always go on the good old beltway around Baltimore. I think all of the asshole drivers in America drive that road. There are too many assholes to count.
I need a xanax 1/2 hour before we get to the city. The only thing that keeps us alive is that my husband is somewhat of an asshole driver himself but still........
While, if you think the Baltimore beltway is bad, you ain't seen nothing til you hit the Washington beltway... Or Atlanta.
For those beltways I highly recommend xanax, prozac, percocet, percodan, and oxycotin, taken with a splash of high grade tequila. That'll at least put you on even footing with the other drivers.
Oh man, I cannot even imagine worse. I think I am turning into a little old lady.

While, what the hell are you driving to Baltimore to get to New Jersey for?
I know it ain't as bad as driving to Mexico to get to Alaska but jeez, that doesn't make sense to me. Unless you're stopping to visit friends or relatives and, despite the fact that you'd always be welcome at my house, I ain't never seen you here.
That is the way my dear husband goes because that is the way his family goes and God forbid he do anything different. We do make it there in 6 hours which isn't bad - especially with my maniac son in the car. This year we drove to Rehoboth for 2 nights and took the ferry to Cape May and then stayed in OCNJ for the week.
I told Fan yesterday before I posted my question that the only conceivable destination point in NJ you'd go through Maryland to hit was the Lewes-Cape May ferry.
Rehoboth makes sense too. Did you drink any Dogfish Head beer while you were there? That stuff is GREAT! If no, then next time you must go to the brewery for dinner and a sample.
I did not Dogfish Head beer.
We ate at Five Guys and Grotto pizza. Five Guys was great as usual but Grotto is 'meh' if you ask me.
One annoying thing in NJ was all the Philadelphia crap ......I got some dirty looks wearing my Penguin attire. It was great.
i can walk to a five guys from my office.
i can wear a steelers jersey out and someone wearing an eagles jersey can walk past and not say a word. not so with flyers. the flyers fans REALLY hate the pens. that hatred isnt there for football. for football its a mild dislike and most will admit they at least respect them.
One day on the boardwalk I was passing a woman with a Flyers jersey on. She looked at me and smiled and looked at my penguin shirt and the smile fell off her face and she stomped off.
It was hilarious!
Meanwhile every time I wore a Penguin shirt I got at least 10 "Hey, nice shirt!" comments.
Burghers are everywhere.
