Wal-Mart Changes Slogan

Wal-Mart changed their 19-year-old slogan today from "Always Low Prices" to "Save Money. Live Better." Funny it was their slogan for that long because I had no idea....and I was once a stock holder. "Live Better?" They should have changed it to "Raise Stress". We used to go to Wal-Mart for 99% of our staple items: toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, razors, shaving cream, paper plates, tissues, cat food, cat litter, light bulbs....etc. We were on a mission and knew where everything was. We were in and out in 30 minutes. The thing is, they started over stuffing the store we go to, the aisles were like Rosie O'Donnel's arteries after eating some KFC. When you did find an aisle that wasn't blocked with merchandise, there would be a 300 pound woman to contend with who usually had her 6 or 7 monster children in tow. One day we finally saw the light, and the light was in the shape of a bulls eye. We switched to Target a few years ago for all of our staple needs. It's a world of difference. Yes, the total at the checkout may be $10 or more on a visit, but I simply don't care. The parking is better. The layout is better. The help is better....and there is considerably more mom eye candy and less mom monsters. That being said, here is my list of 5 slogans they should have went with:

5. Marginally Better than K-Mart
4. Hey, Didn't K-Mart go under?
3. You Save Money When We Hire Dropouts For Marketing
2. Hiring The Disabled As Greeters since 1986
1. No, The Checkers ARE NOT Disabled

I thought their slogan was always: "Trabajo venido para nosotros. Empleamos illegals."

Which loosely translated means: "Come work for us. We hire illegals."
