When I first saw the picture today of the cruise ship that a couple fell overboard from, it looked very familiar. The nigh club was like 9 stories above the water in the back fin. Then I heard it identified as the "Grand Princess". It's the ship we were on in the fall of 1998, it's maiden year. I can't wait to hear the story about how two people went overboard. Without hearing any details - you'd almost have to assume one of them went overboard and the other jumped in to help. I can't imagine how scary it would be to be in the middle of the ocean and not be able to see anything but water! I know our ship buzzed Cuba and we could see it. Wouldn't that be something if they had to swim to Cuba? That would be a first....somebody swimming TO Cuba instead of away from it. In all honesty, I can't believe terrorists haven't done anything recently to cruise ships as they are a huge soft target.
