Rumor has it that ESPN has sacked Joe Theismann from being on Monday Night Football. That would rock! The guy just bugs me.....and millions of other people. I doubt he's a bad person, but he just has that confidence (mostly arrogance) that probably goes hand-in-hand with being a starting QB in the NFL. For years I cheered on Maguire to get his goat. Last year I was in Tony Kornheiser's corner. This year - hopefully - he'll just get picked up by FOX and always be on opposite the Steelers game and I'll only have to hear him once or twice the entire season. Let's hope this iws one rumor that's true!

...now if we could get almost ANYONE to replace Tony "Korn-holer" Kornheiser we'd be all the way there.
I'd take Paul Maguire back in a heartbeat. But he'd have to stop coloring his hair.
Why do these dudes think they've got to get out the Grecian Formula? Frank Gifford started this stupid horse-shit and he looks terrible now. Another bad one is Dick Stockton. Geez is his hair colored badly. I used to love Dick Stockton when he was on KDKA and I still think he's one of the best sports announcers around whether it be football or basketball.
I think older guys give credibility and historic perspective to the stories they tell. Why do they want to look like they're 30 when they're 60? I give Bradshaw a lot of credit for balding and greying and not changing his appearance. Makes him seem more "real."
