Rossum Gone

The Steelers released three players yesterday including Allen Rossum and Jerame Tuman. Clint Kriewaldt was a special teaming linebacker. Tuman pretty much was gone after Spaeth proved he could get open in the end zone. While Rossum didn't light the world on fire, he was better than anyone else we put back there to return kicks. If that job goes back to Willie Reid, I'll scream. Actually, I'm betting he doesn't even make the team. What we need is someone who can return kicks, but can also be used at their normal position, like Randle El. Needless to say, we didn't lose anything valuable. Tuman was a bargain, but can be easily replaced. Losing those three will most definitely bring down the average age of the team whichis a need as well.

Bloom?

What about Bloom? He gone too? I didn't check it out. He's a ski bum who couldn't make the Eagles in two tries. If he's still on the team it's a tesatment to the true stupidity of this coaching staff. Willie Reid for all his sucktitude is 10 times better than Jeremy Bloom.

No big deal here. All pretty much expected moves. I'm almost surprised Dan Kreider wasn't among the listed dead.

You know, I hated Cowher a good deal of the time. But I'm really starting to wonder about how things are getting done down on Art Rooney Boulevard these days. I surely hope I don't have to eat my harsh words about the Chin. But I've got the salt and pepper out.
