Here it is. $105 for 6 with $36 million guaranteed. That's in addition to his 2 years remaining so in reality, they are making up these next 2 years with the HUGE bonus. So, it's not really 6 for $105, it's more like 8 for $110.
I guess for that kind of money the Steelers figure he can snap the ball to himself, block a few onrushing D-linemen, and still hit Santonio in stride on a skinny post.
He better inspect the contract... cause that's pretty much what he's gonna have to do this year.
Glad to see him in the fold long term though. If he lives long enough, we could see a return to the SB during his tenure.
That's alot of moolah! We need Ben to have any chance of winning another ring in the near future. Period. Now that that is out of the way we need to concentrate on the o-line and our defense! As crappy as our line played last season I still feel we still put up enough points to win playoff games. It was our defense that let us down repeatedly during crunch time in 2007. And of course our special teams too which scared the hell out of me every game.
