Do you think somewhere his soul his watching all of this saying, "For Christ's sake, just bury me already!". I mean he died like what, 2 months ago (or so it seems). Put the body in the ground. The man was president for about half a term and he was never elected! Don't take this as disrespect - I'm a registered Republican. It's just that waiting on line for hours to see a closed casket with a human being in it that you never met - makes no sense to someone like me. Hell, he might not even be in there. I might fly to the next destination and wait on line 2 hours just to flip the lid open when I finally get to it. If you think about it now, it's kind of ironic that Chevy played Ford on SNL. When presented with the age old question of Chevy or Ford - I pick Sushi every time.

Ford - Funeral Thoughts

Gerald Ford gave me a rebate on my taxes at a time when I desperately needed the money. He'll always be OK in my book. I don't care how long it takes to bury him.
