DOG: Dump Truck Dumped... What? Agin???

Yesiree folks. Najeh "The Dump Truck" Davenport has been released by the Pittsburgh Steelers... for the third time in the past year. Future signings and releases of Mr. Truck will not be covered by Stilladog here on Steel City Slant on account of nobody gives a rats ass.

To think I put all that time and effort into finding a yellow dump truck, putting a "44" on the door, finding a Stillers logo for the bed, formulating a shade of yellow to match the truck to blend the corners of the logo. And the dude lasts 1 game on the inactive roster which yields him a game check and he's cut again.

On a positive note, this means that evidently Willie Parker's knee responded well to game situations and Najeh is again rendered useless.

Just hope the Cowboys don't pick him up. I hear Marion "The Barbarian" Barber is highly questionable for Sunday's game.

he's a beautiful candidate to go to a team that we will meet in the playoffs and DUMP our philosophy on them. dont be surprised if the shitbirds do it.

Unless LeRon McClain, Ray Rice or Willis McGahee blows out a knee this weekend against the Redskins I highly doubt the Shitbirds would sign him. And the other thing is, in the Billick regime this would have been a distinct possibility. Harbaugh doesn't seem to work that way.

Harbaugh is like Tomlin in that respect. They both take care of business at home. Try to limit the scope of the focus. Zone in on trying to improve their own teams regardless of upcoming opponents. And they do this because they both realize that most NFL games are not won, but lost by the unfocused, undisciplined team.

And looking back on it, how many times have we beaten the Shitbirds because of them being undisciplined? And how many times have we lost to them because we are unfocued?

Najeh's days in the league are numbered... perhaps in single digits.
