The Dog Watch has Nate Washington moving up the depth chart possibly as far as #2 WR. Again, the Dog hears Nate has "tooled" every single DB assigned to cover him. Apparently we have no DB who can stop him including Ike Taylor who took his medicine from Nate yesterday afternoon!!! The Dog likes Nate too.
With his ears up, the Dog also hears that Bret Kiesel, Willie Reid, and Verron Haynes are doing well also. On a sour note Ricardo Colclough does not seem to be doing so well and is coming closer to being cut each day. Hopefully he can play better once the preseason games start.
In the Dog House? Santonio Holmes. No surprise here. You can't be taunting the Miami cops and choking bitches without some repercussions from Cowher. Word around the Dog's House says Cowher had big Kendall Simmons playing defensive back while he threw a high and wide pass to Santonio. Simmons decked Holmes with a blow that brought him to his knees. Now I ask you, why else would Cowher have a 320lb Offensive Lineman in a pass coverage drill except for the explicit purpose of knocking some sense into Santonio Holmes? Hope it worked.
